The Principle of Treatment Rheumatic Pain

rheumatic
The principle of treatment of rheumatic pain or sensitive teeth can be divided into three:

  1. Desensitasi dental nerve (nerve to reduce tooth sensitivity). For example, with toothpaste containing potassium nitrate.
  2. Closing the dentintubules (small tubes that make up dentin) by doing fillings, crown making, and surgical periodontal (gum transplant).
  3. Clog the dentin tubules by using materials such as sodium fluoride, potassium oxalate, strontium chloride, and glutaraldehyde.

While a variety of materials that can be used for rheumatic pain dental care including:
1. Desensitasi toothpaste.
Toothpaste isdivided into two types based on how it works. First by reducing the sensitivity of the nerves of teeth, both by giving the blockage in the dentin tubules. Desensitasi materials commonly used include potassium nitrate, strontium chloride, fluoride, medicinal plants (eg, myrrh, chamomile, and peppermint).
2. Kalsium hydroxide.
The use of this materials less more support.
3. Iontophoresis.
It is a sensitive dengn dental careto apply electric current to incorporate fluoride ions into the dentin. With this technique, tooth fluoride acquired two to six times more than a topical fluoride application. But its cost is relativelyquite expensive.
4. Laser.
Dental pains using laser technology, such as by using laser gallium-aluminum-arsenium, CO2 laser, or laser NdYAG.
5. ACP.
The use of amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) to form the hydroxy apatite crystals padaemail and form blockages in the prism of the email. If the tooth is very sensitive more than three or four days, respond to heat and cold temperatures of food or drink, you should see your dentist to find out the problem and how to overcome them.
